Anti-Bullying

The Governing Body of Aberbargoed Primary School recognises and accepts that our School, like every other in school in Wales, has a bullying problem. The Governing Body believes that no child should be at risk of on going and sustained scapegoating and bullying from another individual or group of individuals. The Governing Body aims to:-
 Reduce and eradicate, wherever possible, instances in which pupils are subjected to bullying in any form;
 Meet any legal obligations, which rest with the School.

Aims & Objectives

During Assembly on Friday 8th February 2019 our learners from Reception to Y6 suggested the following attributes and qualities for our learners… “At Aberbargoed Primary School we seek to be learners who are: “Good, independent, bold, helpful, graceful, resourceful, expert, happy, nice, supportive, focussed, creative, thoughtful, risk takers who are willing to have a go, respectful, ready, reliable ambitious, active listeners, good sense of humour, joyful, grit, fair, sporty, polite with good manners, confident, encouraging, smart, great and friendly.”

My name is Miss Lewis and I currently work in Reception – Class 2. I am a Foundation Phase Teacher and have been teaching since 2001.
I love teaching in the Foundation Phase because we have lots of fun reading stories, singing, playing games and exploring new topics while developing our skills through fun topical activities.
I love animals and have a little dog and two cats. I like taking my dog out exploring the beautiful mountain and beaches in Wales. I love cooking and making delicious food that I can eat!
