My name is Miss Davies. I teach Year 5, Dosbarth Llywelyn. I’ve taught a variety of classes in the school when I taught PPA and spent a term teaching pupils in Year 2.

I lead the Expressive Arts team in school and really enjoy planning exciting arts based learning for the children. As part of my role

I also lead the Young Troopers pupil voice group.

I am a Mum to three lovely children and enjoy spending time outdoors with them and taking them to their many clubs and activities after school.

My name is Miss Lewis and I currently work in Reception – Class 2. I am a Foundation Phase Teacher and have been teaching since 2001.
I love teaching in the Foundation Phase because we have lots of fun reading stories, singing, playing games and exploring new topics while developing our skills through fun topical activities.
I love animals and have a little dog and two cats. I like taking my dog out exploring the beautiful mountain and beaches in Wales. I love cooking and making delicious food that I can eat!

My name is Mrs Attwood and I have worked at Aberbargoed Primary School for over 20 years.

Both my children came to this school and have both been successful in their careers. I work in the office in the mornings and in the afternoons I am part of the Catch-Up Reading team supporting children in improving their reading skills. I enjoy the variety in both jobs – meeting parents and working with children.

My main hobby is watching sport on the TV.

My name is Mrs Jenkins.

I have worked in Aberbargoed Primary School as an Administrative Assistant for 25 years. I enjoy working in the school environment, being at the beck and call of both staff and children. My job in the office is both varied and busy.

In my spare time I like spending time with my family, going cycling and going away in my caravan.

My name is Mrs Lehaj and I have been working at Aberbargoed Primary School for 16 years. I first started working as a 1:1 Support Teaching Assistant but for the last 7 years I have been a full time Teaching Assistant in the classroom. I currently work in Class 4 – Year 2.

I enjoy working in a school environment. It can be really rewarding when I see children with help and support from myself and other members of staff reach their full potential.

I am currently working as a teaching assistant in Class 5 where I work alongside the class teacher. I also love work as a 1 to 1 assistant supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs. I like working at Aberbargoed Primary School. It can be quite challenging but most of the time it’s very rewarding

My hobbies are walking and playing darts but my daughter says I’m no Phil Taylor and I’m more likely to be 180 steps behind than scoring 180 on the oche.

My name is Mrs. Thomas and I’ve worked at Aberbargoed Primary school for 15 years.

I am currently working as a teaching assistant in a Class 6 where I work alongside the class teacher. I also support pupils with Additional Learning Needs. I like working within our school environment. It can be quite challenging but most of the time it’s very rewarding.

I have lots of hobbies including cooking, keeping fit and shopping but members of my family might tell you my favourite hobby would be eating.
